Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 29, 2025
We care about your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can exercise your rights. If you have questions, email hello@gradpathtracker.com.
1) Information we collect
- Contact info (e.g., parent/guardian or school email) to send results and updates.
- Report card files/data you upload for analysis (images or PDFs).
- Usage and device data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance.
- Payment info is handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
2) How we use information
- Provide the Service: process report cards and generate “what’s left” summaries.
- Communicate with you about results, account, support, and product updates.
- Improve and secure the Service, including analytics and abuse prevention.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms.
3) Legal bases (EU/UK)
Where applicable, we rely on legitimate interests (running and improving the Service), contract (providing the features you request), and consent (e.g., marketing emails where required). You can withdraw consent at any time.
4) How long we keep data
We keep report card uploads and derived results only as long as necessary to deliver the Service and meet legal or administrative requirements. You can request deletion at any time (see “Your rights”).
5) Who we share information with
- Processors who help us run the Service:
- Stripe – payments
- Jotform – secure form uploads
- Beehiiv – email newsletter signup
- YouTube – video hosting for our demo
- Authorities if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
6) Cookies & similar technologies
We use essential and analytics technologies to deliver features and measure performance. Embedded content (e.g., YouTube) may set their own cookies. You can adjust browser settings to manage cookies.
7) Children’s privacy
Parents/guardians or authorized school staff should submit student information. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 (or under the age required by local law). If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
8) Your rights
Depending on your location (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object or restrict certain processing. To exercise rights, email hello@gradpathtracker.com. We may verify your request.
9) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No system is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
10) International transfers
We may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
11) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post an updated date and, when appropriate, notify you by email or site notice.
